The Missus, Myself and all the others thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on our 10 day break,everything was really cushty,with the Appartment and all the Facilities that go with it. We said from the start that we were not gonna do a thing? and we didnt? But the time just flew by,that we think always happens when your having such a good time. The local Bars and restaurants couldn't be faulted,with the Meals being excellent in every way,we went over to the Marina one night, and once again the Food and service was really Good,think it was round about Bus stop 13 near the Fair at the entrance to Tomas Maestre Marina Thanks all the airport transfer People and La Manga Dreams for all thier help aswell, couldn't do enough for us all. So once again thanks and we shall obviously be Returning one day for more of it? Even perhaps at a different time of year. |

The apartment is perfectly situated close to the beach and the rest of La Manga is easily accessible. Hayley and Tony from La Manga Dreams where fantastic. We just phoned them form the airport to advise we where leaving and they where at the apartment waiting for us with the keys when we arrived, the directions they supplied from the airport where so easy to follow The apartment was clean, great decor with everything we needed.The apartment is even better than it looks in the photos! I highly recommend a stay here Bernadette |

It was quite literally heaven ....... total tranquillity, the most stunning views over the Mediterranean and mar menor sea , The pool is fantastic. All in all it was a magical week. La manga is a strip of land jutting out from the spanish mainland for about 20km.it has the advantage of having the choice of 2 seas,the Mar menor,a shallow lagoon and the med.both seas boast warm clear water,the mar menor being used by jet skiers and motor boats all day.the first 10km of la manga are fiarly built up with apartment blocks,shops and restaurants, We booked a fortnight(in august) in a 3 bed luxury apartment in the genova building at Las Gondolas,about 18km along the strip.the apartment was spotless and very well equipped for the 4 of us with the well needed aircon in the lounge.the balcony from the lounge looked out onto the beautiful mar menor,a 2 minute walk and all the bedrooms looked out to the med,again a 2 minute walk.there was a small bakers underneath the apartment,a fruit and veg shop opposite and a small supermarket near to the mar menor beach.there were also several restaurants nearby within walking distance. there is a bus service which runs up and down the strip (very cheap) there is a burgerking and 2 large supermarkets at the thomas maestro marina,about 5km from las gondolas and loads of restaurants as well as the ferry that will take you over to santiago on the mainland for 4 euros each.the ferry leaves on the odd hours and returns on the even hours. | Reviews for this holiday rental | http://www.lamangadreams.co.uk/properties.asp?idproduct=60 This was our second trip to Spain but the first to La Manga, and from the moment we arrived at Playa Principe we all fell in love with this place! Best location on the whole La Manga Strip. Walking distance to the Thomas Maestre Marina, restaurants, shops, cafes (Internet Cafe), banks. The view from the balcony and every window in the apartment is fantastic- white sandy beach and blue sea. Sitting on the balcony at night was so relaxing, sipping a glass of good Spanish wine, listening to the sound of waves and watching the lights along the coast.!! Wow!!! . Highlights of our holiday were trips to historic city of Cartagena and ferry trips across Mar Menor to Santiago de Ribera to the weekly street Market. The ferry leaves from the marina every 2 hours and costs 4 euros/person. The bus to Cartagena has its first stop on the Strip and cost around 3 euros. . The building and the apartment are beautiful - spotlessly clean and only three apartments on the floor !!! Remember to wipe your feet when coming back from the beach!!!! The housekeepers - wonderful couple! Very helpful and attentive, going out of their way to please!!! The owners deserve the biggest applause - John always returned my emails in a timely manner and even set up a Paypal account for fast and secure payments. Thank You John and Gill for a wonderful memories!!! It was worth it to fly across Atlantic Ocean (7 hrs) to spend two weeks in your 5 star Luxury apartment in La Manga.!!!! Hope to return there soon! |
