Frequently asked questions when making a booking

 

 

Q. How do I book?

A. Each property has a live availability calendar to check if your chosen dates are free, you can then complete our booking forms with your preferred payment options Email us @ info@lamangadreams.co.uk or telephone us on 0044-1237-420346 with your preferred property and your preferred dates. Once dates for apartment / villa have been agreed and been reserved for you, please send a cheque for £100.00 payable to La Manga Dreams, to confirm the booking , bookings of less than six week before arrival, the full amount will need to be paid,

Q. Are bookings restricted to Saturdays?

A. No, you can arrive any day of the week, subject to availability. We understand how important it is for you to be able to take your holiday when you want; we aim to be as flexible as possible with regard to duration of stay and arrival/departure dates. If you wish to book a shorter or a longer stay than quoted below, please contact us for prices. Flights are often less expensive during weekdays and allows you better choice with flights, So we are happy to accommodate arrival and departure on any day of the week Please arrive at the property after 4.00pm and depart before 10.00am (unless prior arrangements have been made)

Q: If I have a late flight can I stay in the apartment / villa until I am ready to leave for the airport,

A : Yes, but only by prior arrangement, ( a fee of 1/7th of the weekly rental costs will be payable during high season July & August)

Q: "Can I reserve the apartment / villa by e-mail or phone?"

A: Yes, we will reserve it for you but the booking is not confirmed until the deposit arrives.

Q: "When is the booking confirmed?"

A: The booking is confirmed when the deposit is received.

Q: "What happens after I pay the deposit?"

A: You will be notified by e-mail  or post when the deposit is received. You will receive by email or  post a confirmation of your bookings with details of how to pay the balance, which is due 6 weeks before your arrival date. Upon receipt of the balance you will receive full instructions and telephone numbers, and details of how to reach the villa or pick-up point.

Q: "Why is the booking deposit non-returnable?"

A: The deposit is required because, should you cancel, we would obviously have difficulty rebooking the property at short notice.

Q: "When do I pay the balance?"

A: The balance (e.g. the total amount payable less your deposit) plus the refundable security / damage deposit is due 6 weeks before your arrival date.

Q.What is the security deposit mentioned at the foot of each property description?

A: A security deposit is taken as a guarantee against any breakages or damage incurred during your stay or excess cleaning required at the end. It should be paid with the balance of the rental costs, After inspection it will be returned to you at the end of your stay, by post within two weeks of your departure. Breakages or damage should always be reported to the key holder and holiday homes should be left in a clean and tidy condition, although each property will be cleaned between holiday lets. .


Q: "Why do I have to pay a final cleaning fee?”

A: This ensures that the apartment / Villa is cleaned after your departure and all linen / towels / tea towels are laundered ready for the next guests

Q: "When do I receive directions to the apartment / villa?"

A: You will receive full directions and maps by post, including contact telephone numbers, on receipt of the balance.

Q: "If I have any problems finding the property or our flights are delayed, what do I do?"

A: You will be sent the emergency contact telephone numbers of the property key holder and ourselves in the area. All you have to do is let us know, we will help you in any way we can

Q. How do I get there?

A. The area is served well by two airports; Alicante which is 90 minutes by car and Murcia (San Javier) which is 40 minutes by car. There are many Low cost airlines such as Ryanair, My Travel Lite, EasyJet, Jet2, BA, Monarch and Flybe, all fly to the region and new routes are being released all the time.Murcia Flights are available from nine different airports in the UK and through six different, UK based low cost airlines. The flying times for all flights to Murcia Airport from the Uk is around 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Q: - What do I do when I have booked airport transfers

A. If you have pre-booked an airport transfer, your driver will have your keys and will take your direct to your door. If your flight is delayed, please telephone from the UK airport. Directions from both airports will be included in your booking information pack.

Q. Do the properties have air-conditioning?

A. The majority of our apartments and villas have air conditioning, but please check before booking

Q. What do I need to bring?

A. All linen and towels will be provided, please bring your own beach towels. All of our properties are fully furnished to a high standard and have fully equipped kitchens and TVs. Most have Video or DVD players as well some even have English TV with 30 channels, please check before booking.

Q. Can I hire Cots and high chairs?

A. Yes. These can be provided. They must be booked at least 6 weeks prior to your holiday ie. At the time of payment of the balance.

Q. Do you provide a welcome pack?

A. Yes, for an extra 20€ we will provide a welcome pack to cover your first breakfast. The welcome pack contains Tea bags,Coffee,Bread,Bottled water,Butter,Juice,Marmalade,Semi-skimmed milk and Sugar.


Q. Do I have a contact in Spain if there are any problems?

A. Yes, you will be given the number of the key holders, who will be on hand if your washing machine breaks down or you have any problems with the property
