The 5 star Roda Golf & Beach Resort is managed by the De Vere Group, the same company that manages the Belfry in the UK.

This luxury first class resort has been designed with security in mind, it is set within a barrier controlled complex with 24hr surveillance and security patrols. The golf course is edged with Andalucian style low level homes complemented by stunning scenery. The homes are built around the golf course with many pedestrian walkways that lead around the development and to the clubhouse to minimize the need to drive.

Sam Torrance

Roda's captain of golf - Sam Torrance - has already played the course along with Jose Manuel Lara, recent winner of the Hong Kong Open in Nov 2006. Sam has recently commented in the local paper that it is one of the best he has seen in Spain - possibly Europe! The golf course has been awarded the ISO 14.001 certificate, the first golf course in the area to hold this prestigious certificate.

The 5* Hotel will overlook the 7th hole - spectacular viewing. Both the Hotel & Golf course will be managed by the De Vere group, who as owners of the Belfry, have an established reputation of excellence. Roda Golf & Beach Resort has a private beach club Located on the La Manga Del Mar Menor penisula, with beach access to both the Mar Menor and Mediterranean Sea. You can swim or try watersports in the warm ocean or relax by the swimming pool.

The Beach Club has a restaurant and bars service, which also serves the pool & beach area, a supervised swimming pool with jacuzzi, solarium area, changing rooms with lockers, etc all for the benefit of the owners and residents of Roda Golf & Beach Resort.

To get to the Beach Club

There is available a transport service by ferry and minibus. With departure point at the pier of the “Escuela de Piragüismo” of Santiago de la Ribera, arriving at Puerto Tomás Maestre, in La Manga del Mar Menor. Once there, a minibus will cover the short trip to the Beach Club. Prices: Free entrance to the Beach Club
